When you received the citation, you promised to appear. If you fail to appear as promised, the judge may issue an arrest warrant for you. If a warrant is issued, you can be arrested by the El Paso Police Department or other law enforcement agencies.
There is a short period between the arraignment date and the issuance of the warrant. If you contact the Court before the arrest warrant has been issued:
- You may pay the citation in person, online or by mail.
- You may request a payment plan.
