Montana Vista Wastewater Collection System

The Montana Vista Wastewater Collection System project aims to provide first time services for over 2,400 homes south of Montana Avenue. This project consists of three phases.

Thanks to a combined grant and low interest-loan of $12.9 million under the Economically Distressed Areas Program (EDAP) from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), El Paso Water completed Phase I of the project in 2021 to provide wastewater service to over 800 homes.

On June 2023, the TWDB approved a combined grant and low interest loan of $28.9 million under the EDAP Program from TWDB for Phase II, which will provide wastewater services to 775 households.

EPWater will continue to pursue funding opportunities from state and federal agencies to complete Phase III of the Montana Vista project.
