Ana Sanchez, VP – Financial and Management Services
Sanchez serves as Vice President for Financial and Management Services. She oversees Human Resources, Safety and Risk Management, Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, and Real Estate Services. Sanchez is a 23-year veteran of the utility and City of El Paso. Most recently, she served as the utility’s Chief Learning Officer, with oversight of human resources, safety, and personal and property damage claims and championed leadership development and organizational learning initiatives across the utility. Sanchez has led a range of institutional initiatives, including safety programs, the utility’s COVID-19 crisis response strategy, implementation and integration of the El Paso and Hudspeth Counties Water Supply Corporation, extensive revisions to the City Charter and Civic Service Commission Rules and Regulations, and a major redesign of workforce planning and compensation plans. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from the University of Texas at El Paso and holds professional certifications from the Society for Human Resources Management and Human Resource Certification Institute.
