El Paso Water to break ground on Montana Vista Wastewater Project
EL PASO – El Paso Water will break ground on Phase 1 of the Montana Vista Wastewater Project that will bring first-time wastewater service to about 800 residents in Far East El Paso.
EPWater has been working with local and state officials and community leaders to secure funds for the project since 2015. The Texas Water Development Board has provided $11.4 million in grant funding for construction of the new system. Over 39 miles of pipe and about 400 manholes will be installed.
