Waterline replacement planned ahead of TxDOT street rehab work
EL PASO – Beginning Monday Dec. 2, Mesa Street will be narrowed to two lanes for southbound traffic between Kern Drive and Glory Road. The project will last approximately five weeks as El Paso Water replaces an aging water line ahead of the Texas Department of Transportation’s project to rehabilitate Mesa Street.
Lanes will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while crews perform construction work.
This project is part of El Paso Water’s efforts to improve and enhance the reliability of our water systems while taking advantage of TxDOT’s street rehabilitation plans.
For more information about this project, residents can contact El Paso Water Project Manager Fred Hernandez at (915) 258-9376.
